EMBRACING RACE
The Conversation
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to dismantle racism and white supremacy in the South Jersey region and beyond, one conversation at a time, through monthly conversations, community engagement and education.
Our Mission Statement
EMBRACING RACE – The Conversation seeks to gather people of diverse backgrounds, faiths, and life experiences to engage in authentic dialogue about racism – to acknowledge and confront it, and then move in faith toward dismantling it, building a more loving community.
And Why...
The group’s leaders have created a safe space to share – a community of compassion and acceptance – as people of all ages, backgrounds and experience come to the discussion. We strive to be diligent in the practice of anti-racism. We seek to build a collective power that can stand up to systems of oppression and prepare for a future wherein everyone has an opportunity to thrive. All are welcome to join, share and learn
